Thereby, the essence of the latest masterstroke of the “power metalers” of Dawn of Destiny is already summed up.

The band managed to improve from album to album which finally lead to their first concept-album “F.E.A.R.”. This in turn, led to the question of how Dawn of Destiny is going to be able to top that. The answer is “To Hell”.

This already starts with the cover, which, at first glance, seems plainer than the other but effectively depicts the core of the album i.e. the motifs of fire and water as well as the motif of the suffering woman (angel and sinner at the same time). Beautiful in its simplicity and perfectly fitting with the story.

Unexpectedly, “To Hell” is yet another concept-album. It tells the story of Mary and Tim on a cruise ship during their honeymoon. They are being chased by Ibrahim, who is confronting Mary with her dark past, which has to do with the meaning of her tattoo “NA” and which he is hiding from Tim. Ibrahim is forcing Mary to make a gruesome choice.

Womit die Essenz des neuesten Geniestreich der "Power Metaler" von Dawn of Destiny bereits zusammengefasst wäre.

Der Band gelang es bis dato von Album zu Album immer wieder sich zu steigern, was schließlich in dem ersten Konzeptalbum "F.E.A.R." mündete. Es drängte sich die Frage auf, wie es Dawn of Destiny gelingen sollte das zu toppen. Die Antwort ist "To Hell". 

Das beginnt schon beim Cover, welches auf den ersten Blick zwar schlichter als die übrigen erscheint, aber den Kern des Albums, also die Motive Feuer und Wasser, sowie das Motiv der leidenden Frau (Engel und Sünderin zugleich) wirkungsvoll veranschaulicht. Wunderschön in seiner Einfachheit und wunderbar passend zur Story.

Denn bei "To Hell" handelt es sich unerwarteter Weise erneut um ein Konzeptalbum. Die Geschichte erzählt von Mary und Tim auf einer Kreuzfahrt während ihrer Flitterwochen. Dort werden sie von Ibrahim verfolgt, der Mary mit ihrer düsteren und vor Tim verborgenen Vergangenheit, die sich um die Bedeutung ihres Tattoos "NA" rankt, konfrontiert und vor eine grausame Wahl gestellt.
