This is exactly what it felt like on Friday, July 7^th 2015 at 11:55 am on the Headbangers Stage of the Wacken Open Air when the “Symphonic Epic Power Metal” Band Ancient Bards had their wonderful show. 

It already became clear during the sound check: something powerful-voiced was approaching! After the passionate announcement of Möppis Met Maschine, an epic atmosphere arose when the stage was entered with hoods which fir perfectly to the band’s contentual concept. It consists of an Album-Trilogy with a fantasy story as the foundation. The very well picked set list contained one top song from the first two albums each and three songs of the current work “A New Dawn Ending”. Of those, the pieces “Flaming Heart” and “In My Arms” excited especially.

Genauso fühlte es sich an Freitag, dem 31.07.2015 um 11:55 Uhr auf der Headbangers Stage des Wacken Open Air beim großartigen Auftritt der "Symphonic Epic Power Metal" Band Ancient Bards an. 

Schon beim Soundcheck war klar: da kommt etwas Stimmgewaltiges auf uns zu! Nach der feurigen Ankündigung von Ansager Möppis Met Maschine kam beim Betreten der Bühne mit Kapuze direkt epische Stimmung auf, die perfekt zum inhaltlichen Konzept der Band passt. Das besteht aus einer Album-Trilogie mit einer Fantasy-Geschichte als Grundlage. Die sehr gut gewählte Setlist enthielt dabei jeweils einen Spitzen-Song der ersten beiden Alben und drei Songs vom aktuellen Werk "A New Dawn Ending". Von denen begeisterten besonders die Nummern "Flaming Heart" und "In My Arms".
